Reunion holiday for whom?
Reunion is an island for every adventurer. It is a perfect choice for mountain lovers. The island offers unique opportunities for hiking along picturesque trails. Both beginners and experienced tourists will find routes suitable to their hiking skills level. Those seeking extreme activities won’t be disappointed. Activities available on the island include canyoning, paragliding, surfing and diving. In between discovering the nooks and crannies of the island, there you should also find time to relax in the resorts of the west coast such as Sainte Gilles or on the wild beaches of the south and east coasts.
Reunion is an island full of attractions and places with breathtaking views. Feel like you're on the moon on the Du Vulcan route, or go on a climb that will take you to the edge of the active Piton de la Fournaise volcano. See Notre Dame de Laves church, in front of which the lava miraculously parted after the volcanic eruption. Be amazed by the beauty of the island during a helicopter flight and admire the natural amphitheatres, Cilaous, Mafate, Salazie, also known as "circuses". Discover the multiculturalism of Réunion and experience the influences from France, Africa, India, China and other regions. And finally, stop at one of the wild beaches and admire the sunsets while having a picnic with the best Creole dishes and, of course, French wine!
Reunion best time to go?
You can visit Réunion at any time of the year, but the best time to travel depends on how you want to spend your time on the island. The climate here is tropical with a dry and rainy season. The dry period (May-November) is considered the best time to visit if you plan to go hiking in the mountains or are interested in whale watching (June-October). During this time, temperatures are pleasant and rainfall is relatively low, which means clear skies and excellent visibility. During the rainy season (December-April), temperatures and air humidity are much higher and the landscapes are lush and green. If you have any questions about the island's climate, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to advise you and organize your dream trip to Reunion.
